Polar F55 a thorough review
I am a big fan of the polar heart rate monitors. The reason is simple, they are highly functional, aesthetically
pleasing, and they are packed with some of the most amazing features you could ask for in a heart rate monitor. Now
let us take a deeper look at the polar f55 and see if it is worthy of the great Polar
name.
A Touch of Class
It is
clear that the f55 sole purpose is to design a monitor that assist users in reaching optimal fitness and weight
loss. One thing for sure, it goes beyond the basics and really makes it possible to train and see results that
hiring a professional trainer will bring. If you are not just trying to lose weight but build up muscles and
strength then this monitor also offer guidance in really building up those biceps with its Polar Body Workout
feature. This feature is really amazing and a lot of other heart rate monitors do not carry such a top notch
application. A lot of monitors are design for outdoor use and sometimes forget those who work out in gyms...this
is not the case with the polar f55 heart rate monitors.

If you
know anything about polar monitors you know they have a great feature call Wearlink Transmitter, and what this
cool feature does is simple stopping unwanted frequencies from interrupting your data. This make it quite
possible to work in a gym with many heart rate monitors and being more than secure that your monitor will me
accurate.
What you have been waiting for: the cons.
We did
say this was a fair and balance review right? So let us start dissecting the cons of this polar f55 monitor. Ok
first is the removal of data, it really sucks that the data collected for your exercise sessions cant not all be
erased with one click. So you have to delete your data on a daily basis and even though not a major problem it
can really be annoying. Sometimes it takes less time to just reset the entire watch to get rid of all the data!
Also there is the limitation (17 work-out) of work-out sessions that can be loaded on this
monitor.
With all the cons considered, this monitor is still a very solid monitors for people who are considering weight
training or weight loss. Polar packs it with some great features that you will definitely love, but this monitor is
not perfect and have a few a nuisances that could of been better handled.
