Heart Monitor Watches

Polar RS100

I always hear people complaining about how often they exercise but not seeing any significant results. A lot of us do not realize that heart rate have a lot to do with the results we get from exercises. The Polar Rs100 is a very accurate heart rate monitor that is extremely simple to use.

There are some great features added to this specific watch. There is a built in stop-watch and other features that permit using the watch as an everyday watch and not just for exercise. The digits on the watch are large which facilitate ease of reading. However, one of my favorite features is the time in your target zone feature… which helps to optimize true workout efforts. So with the time it too to do the entire exercise plus the time you stayed in your target heart zone then it is possible to see how effective  that particular session was.

The nice thing about the polar rs100 is how it displays heart rate as beats per minute along with the percentage of maximum heart rate. This watch also allow the setting as the target zone to be automatic or manual depends on your desire. This mean you will never have to learn any formulas to determine what your target zone is. On top of this feature is the methods the watch have to signal when you are not in your target zone, namely… the large display screen and various noises it will make to notify you.

When in a crowded area such as a gym or other areas where wireless signals are being broadcast the polar rs100 abilities to discern the right signals will be very helpful.  Polar rs100 have a special code that prevents other heart monitors and other signals from interfering with its signal…so regardless on how crowded the area is your signals will be accurate.

A great feature of the polar rs100 heart rate monitor is the Polar owncal feature. Basically owncal will show how much calories you burned within a given workout session but also can accumulate the data and show calories burn over a range of exercises. This way you can chart your calories burned over time. With these kinds of capabilities it is possible to create attainable goals for yourself.

The polar Own zone is another  feature that will that will track your warm-ups and show when you are in the ideal heart rate zone to receive the most out of your exercise. This feature does take in consideration a person current fitness level also.
